He was thrilled with the support NYers had given him
And wanted Nike to thank them
With a full-page ad in the New York Times.
Amazingly, we were forwarded Lance’s actual email.
Rather than write something ourselves
We decided to run the email.

It’s too bad what happened with Lance
But I still think it was fun
To turn something inherently digital into print.
